Do Chic In in the Cameron Highlands is a nice quiet place to escape the hustle and bustle of Kuala Lumpur.
Please note that if you get travel sick – Cameron Highlands is at 1, 400m altitude: Vicious road up to Cameron Highlands and this made me car sick when usually this does not affect me.
Nice place in a quiet residential area, but within 10 minutes walk to town centre where there are loads of restaurants. Very clean and great view from the dining room. Jaycee is a bit overstrict about “regulations”, which can be a bit off-putting, but otherwise it is well run.
Great breakfast and since we all got car-sick on the way up, they very kindly agreed to pack breakfast on our last day so we could have it after we finished with the hairpin bends.
Overall, very nice, quiet and cool after sweltering heat of Kuala Lumpur.
