We went to the launch of Sweet Eve hosted by Great British Chefs at Jenius Social. We enjoyed traditional British food including mini fish and chips, mini beef in Yorkshire puddings and mini jacket potatoes with sour cream and chives whilst chatting to our hosts and to fellow foodies. A traditional summery drink of Pimms was also served during the evening.
Chef Malcom then demonstrated how to create mille-feuille using the beautiful, sweet, fragrant Sweet Eve strawberries – great for any special occasion.
Finally, we were treated to a towering masterpiece of strawberry swiss roll, vanilla cream, meringues and fresh strawberries. A perfect end to the evening!
