We went to The Star by Hackney Downs to check out their Sunday Roasts.
Fantastic Moroccan spicing on the lamb complemented the meat, though it could have been a bit pinker.
The pork belly had a wonderful depth of flavour from the fennel seeds and chilli. A light crispy Yorkshire pudding with perfectly cooked accompaniments including chargrilled fennel.

Thoroughly enjoyed sitting out on the patio with its view over Hackney Downs tucking into our roasts and sipping our red wine. A great way to spending a Sunday afternoon!
