We went to try the Hereford Beef patties on the final day of the Co-op’s Tweet4aTable tour of the UK. Whilst we waited, enjoying the wonderful sun, we were encouraged to try the Co-op’s new Fruity Coconut slices by the bubbly Louise and Hannah (PR and Marketing team). We were not a fan of the desiccated coconut – but give them a try as you may like them.
We were seated on the upper deck of the pop-up, taking in the great riverside views of the City of London whilst we perused the menu.
Chiara tucked into The Beast – with Stilton, Mozzarella and Spanish Chorizo; Paprika Fries; and mac ‘n’ cheese with pancetta washed down with a lovely fruity Argentine Malbec; whilst I enjoyed a Naked gluten-free Hereford beef burger with Stilton accompanied with Paprika fries and a glass of Chardonnay.
Tucked into great desserts at home of New York (creamy with a slightly sour tang and a buttery oaty base) and Rhubarb & Custard cheesecakes (creamy and zingy with a light vanilla sponge base) from Co-op’s Truly Irresistible range – a perfect way to end the evening.
Thank you to the Co-op and staff at Tweet4aTable for good service, but especially to the lovely Louise and Hannah for looking after us and making it an enjoyable evening to start the weekend.
Keep an eye out for their next tour – and watch this space!
